Celtics signing Jabari Parker

Free agent Jabari Parker has agreed to a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, according to Shams Charania.

The Celtics are waiving center Moe Wagner to create a roster space for Parker, Charania adds.

Parker only played three games this season with the Sacramento Kings after missing games with a back injury, personal reasons and health and safety protocols.

He averaged 9.0 minutes per game before he was waived by the Kings at the March 25 trade deadline.

Parker, 26, who has career averages of 14.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, will give the Celtics some frontcourt depth off the bench.
