New York Knicks are interested in signing CSKA Moscow’s guard Mike James, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Despite Mitchell Robinson being out for the rest of the season, the Knicks are leaning toward making a backcourt addition, Berman reports.

The past month, James was suspended following an altercation with his head coach Dimitris Itoudis. Since then, the scoring guard’s future it’s still unclear in Moscow.

This season, the 30-year-old is averaging 19.3 points and 4.7 assists in 27 Euro-League games. James has 36 NBA games under his belt with the Suns and the Pelicans.

He is considered one of the best scoring guards in Europe having played for several clubs across the continent in Spain, Greece and Italy.
