Boston rookie Payton Pritchard talks about his transition to the NBA: “It’s a grind”

Rookie guard Payton Pritchard found a rhythm last night in LA, scoring 15 points in Boston’s win against the Lakers. Pritchard came into the game shooting just 30% in his last seven outings, as he’s still adjusting to the league. The Celtics youngster discussed the reality of the NBA’s grind during postgame.

(Via CLNS Media):

“It’s a grind. This is my first time going through it, it’s a learning experience. Your body gets tired and you get mentally tired. So finding ways to get through that and staying sharp will benefit me in the future. For me right now, I’m focusing on everything I can focus on to be my best.”
