Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs reacted to the decision of LaMarcus Aldridge to retire from the NBA, due to a heart issue.
The Spurs congratulated Aldridge for what he accomplished in his career and wished him well in his recovery.
For his part, coach Pop said the Spurs are ‘grateful’ for Aldridge’s contributions to the team. The big man spent six seasons with San Antonio (2015-2021).
LaMarcus Aldridge announced his retirement after playing with an irregular heartbeat last week.
