Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves sent a message prior to Tuesday’s contest as players from both team wore T-shirts reading “With liberty and justice FOR ALL” during warm-ups.

The shirts are a symbolic response to the killing of Daunte Wright  by a police officer in a Minneapolis suburb Sunday. The game between the T-Wolves and the Nets was scheduled for Monday night, however NBA decided to postpone it.

NBA players have been pretty active in social and racial justice issues the last few years with several superstars urging for the violence to stop.
