The star of the Philadelphia 76ers and MVP candidate Joel Embiid believes he plays just like Kevin Durant. On Monday, during the game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Cameroonian center scored 36 points in merely 26 minutes, helping his team take the win.
In his opinion, there are five things concerning his performance which clearly shows that he plays like the two-time NBA champion.
“I’ve always seen myself as just being, you know, like, I don’t know, Kevin Durant, just moving all over the place, shooting off the dribble, handling the ball, crossovers, posting up,” Embiid said postgame, per Chris Crouse of Forty Eight Minutes.
