Pelicans plan to sign former Fenerbahce guard James Nunnally, per report

Former Fenerbahce guard James Nunnally will reportedly try his luck in the NBA for a third time. According to Shams Charania, the New Orleans Pelicans plan to sign the 30-year-old player to a two-way contract.

During his career, Nunnally played in Greece, Puerto Rico, Italy, Turkey, Israel, China. The highest point of his career so far was winning the EuroLeague in 2017 with Fenerbahce.

He has also played in the NBA with four different teams over two seasons. In 2014, he split the season between the Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers and in 2018-2019 he was with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Houston Rockets.

Despite being a member of four different NBA teams, he played just 28 games in the league in total averaging 2.9 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 9.5 minutes per game.
