Gary Trent Jr., the newcomer of the Toronto Raptors, is already loved by the team’s fans despite having played just five games for the 2019 NBA champions. The 22-year-old guard is waiting for the time the fans are allowed into the arena so he can meet them in person.
“I still get so much love from the fans on the internet – good game, bad game, every DM, everything,” Trent said, per Josh Lewenberg. “They’re showing me love so I can only imagine what it’s like in person. I cannot wait to get out there.”
Trent Jr. is averaging 16.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game for the Raptors over the five games that he played. His season averages are 15.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
