Golden State Warriors dropped their third game in a row, and Stephen Curry did not hide his frustration as his team conceded a 111-117 loss to Atlanta Sunday.

Curry single-handedly tried to put an end to the Warriors’ slump finishing Sunday’s contest with 37 points, on 12-of-23 shooting. However, that was not enough for Steve Kerr’s team, which lost its 7th game in the last eight outings.

(via ESPN’s Nick Friedel):

“The hard part is trying to answer some of the questions around how we can get better and how we win games,” Curry told reporters.

“The situation is what it is. We have a lot to improve on, and there’s a challenge there that we all need to take head on. It’s uncomfortable right now, it’s frustrating for everybody, but it will test us to find a way to make these last 20 games matter and give us something to show for it towards the end of the season.

“Right now, it’s frustrating, for sure. I hope everybody in the locker room hates losing as a motivation just to stick with it, to stay connected and to figure it out.”

The Warriors sit at a season-worst four games under .500 (23-27) fighting for a place in the play-in tournament. With 20 games for the end of the regular season, the Warriors will need to show a different face for them to play postseason basketball.
