Gordon Hayward is expected to miss at least four weeks with a foot sprain, the Charlotte Hornets announced Saturday. The injury occurred during the second quarter of the game vs the Pacers Friday.

The veteran forward will be re-evaluated in four weeks, according to the team’s statement. Hayward was added to the long injury list of Hornets’ players including LaMelo Ball and Malik Monk.

The Hornets currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference at 25-23, but are only a game and a half up on the seventh seed and a potential spot in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament.

In 44 games this season, Hayward seemed to return to his All-Star form in Charlotte. He averages 19.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.2 steals in 34 minutes per game.
