Dwight Howard on Joel Embiid’s return: “When we add Joel back, it will be lights out”

Philadelphia 76ers have concluded a six-game road trip without Joel Embiid on a high-note. Dwight Howard, who had an excellent game on Thursday vs. Cleveland, said, via ESPN, the league needs to be on high alert when Embiid returns from injury.

Howard put up 18 points and 15 rebounds to help the Sixers secure a 114-94 win to remain at the top spots of the Eastern Conference.

In the 17 games the Sixers have played this season without Embiid, Howard has averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds a game, all while shooting 57% from the field.

Embiid is expected to make his return for the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves. The center from Cameroon is having an MVP-type of season putting up 29.9 points and 12 rebounds per night.
