Andre Drummond is a newcomer on the Los Angeles Lakers but he has two familiar faces on the team. The 27-year-old center has previously played with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Markieff Morris while he was with the Detroit Pistons.

After his first practice as a Laker, Drummond said having KCP and Morris as teammates helped him with the transition to the new team.

“Yeah, KCP and Markieff made the transition very easy for me. From the moment I got here they just showed me everything I needed to know,” he said. “I got all the film I needed to get to learn their schemes offensively and defensively.

“Being on the same court as them again it was an incredible feeling. Pope, have been playing with him in a couple of years and Markieff playing with him last year. So the chemistry was already there.”
