Steph Curry returned to action on Monday’s contest vs. the Chicago Bulls providing a major boost for the Warriors, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Despite his return, the Warriors’ superstar revealed he still is in pain due to the tailbone issue that kept him sidelined in the last five games.

Curry was obviously in pain every time he hit the floor during Monday night’s matchup. However, he ended propelling his team to a win with 30 points, six assists and five rebounds on 30 minutes of play.

“I knew it was going to be interesting how you can’t really simulate that in practice or workouts or stuff, so wasn’t fun, but got through it and keep warm and deal with the pain and just play,” Curry told reporters after the game.

When asked by The Athletic’s Anthony Slater when he expects to be pain-free, Curry said he doesn’t see an end in sight.

“Nah because it was such an unorthodox type of fall landing on that stair like I did, that probably not anytime soon, but I should be good to keep playing,” Curry explained.
