According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Stein, big man Andre Drummond has cleared waivers and intends to sign with the NBA title-defending Los Angeles Lakers.
The former Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson, who is one of the architects of the current Lakers, took to Twitter to react to the news:
Drummond, 27, averaged 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.6 steals through 25 games for the Cleveland Cleveland this season.
