Danny Green returned to Staples Center for the first time as an opponent and received his championship ring from the Lakers.
Green took to social media after the game between the Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers and showed love to the defending champions.
“One of those moments that brings you back to childhood! Felt like a kid in a candy store out there receiving my ring finally! Lol thank you thank you thank you to the whole Lakers organization for putting together a great presentation for us and making us feel special.
Always great seeing my brothers and extended family in LA. So much love, and an amazing time competing again on that floor.
Last but not least, thank you to my brothers, friends and family for putting together a night I will never forget…I am not who I am today without you guys, love you all!” Green wrote on Instagram.
Danny Green, who joined the Sixers in offseason, spent the previous season with the Lakers, winning the 2020 NBA championship.
