Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson leaves game vs. Bucks with a fractured foot

New York Knicks starting center Mitchell Robinson suffered another serious injury this season. The Knicks’ explosive center suffered a fracture in his right foot midway through the first quarter against the Bucks in Milwaukee, per NY Post.

Robinson came down awkwardly from a jump and eventually hobbled off the floor. The young big was on his fourth game back from a fractured hand he suffered earlier in the season.

The Knicks already were without All-Star forward Julius Randle. Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson are expected to cover Robinson’s absence.

The injury came in a time that the Knicks were leaning against making a move for Andre Drummond. It remains to be seen if the franchise will change its mind now with Robinson out indefinitely.
