The Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Wesley Matthews thinks that the whole NBA was shaken when LeBron James went down with an ankle injury.
The four-time NBA champion is the face of the league and every time a player of such stature goes down, the whole league is concerned.
“When LeBron went down, it rattled the whole NBA, not just our team,” Matthews said, per Kyle Goon, adding that the period without James and Anthony Davis will make the Lakers stronger.
The reigning NBA champions lost four games in a row without James and Davis, including the game in which LeBron suffered the injury. They were able to recover by winning the most recent game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
