The Los Angeles Clippers parted ways with Lou Williams, after four years since he joined the team, to get Rajon Rondo. According to sports analyst Skip Bayless, this addition makes the Clippers the favorites over the Lakers. He praised the team’s executive Jerry West for making the trade.

“Here come the Clippers! The great Jerry West bamboozled the Lakers and the entire NBA for Rajon Rondo,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED. He also pointed out that the Clippers did not have a true leadership that Rondo will bring into the locker room and especially during the playoffs.

Rondo, who won his second championship last season with the Lakers, arrives from the Hawks where he averaged 3.9 points, 2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 14.9 minutes per game.
