Detroit Pistons legend, Isiah Thomas, shared his first impression on Luka Doncic, who instantly became one of the hottest names in the NBA. In his third year in the league, the Slovenian is already an MVP candidate.
“Wow! My first impression of Luka Doncic was WOW!” the three-time NBA champion recalled. “You know Luka’s got size. He’s got a gift for passing. He’s competitive He can shoot the basketball I mean by the time Luka is twenty six, twenty seven I shudder to think how great He is going to be.”
This season, Doncic is averaging 28.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game for the Dallas Mavericks as they occupy the seventh place in the Western Conference.
