Duncan Robinson is in Heat’s offer to Raptors for Kyle Lowry, per Brian Windhorst

Despite recent reports that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in Kyle Lowry, ESPN’s NBA insider Brian Windhorst does not believe there is any substance to such rumors. According to him, two teams are favorites to get the 35-year-old point guard.

They are the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers. Windhorst also shared inside info of what Miami’s offer to Toronto looks like. “Right now from what I am told Duncan Robinson is in the offer from the Heat to Toronto and Tyler Herro is not,” he said on ESPN’s First Take. “And the Raptors would really like Tyler Herro to be in that deal but the premium package is not being offered.

“And from Philadelphia they are permitted to trade 21 and 23 first round picks — this year’s pick and in 2023. Plus they have Tyrese Maxey, their young guard out of Kentucky. And plus have Matisse Thybulle. Toronto would like all of those pieces. And from what I’ve been told, Philly has not been willing to put that whole package in there.

“Part of of the reason for this deal is that Kyle Lowry is not drawing the offers and part of it, Stephen A., is because there’s only two teams bidding.”
