Matt Barnes on Andre Drummond joining Lakers: “He’s not going to come in and change the dynamic”

While it still remains to be seen whether Andre Drummond ends up with the Los Angeles Lakers, former NBA champion Matt Barnes thinks that the 27-year-old center would not have that big of an impact if he lands in LA.

“We won’t see his impact with the Lakers until AD and LeBron are healthy,” Barnes said on ESPN’s The Jump. “He’s not going to come in and change the dynamic.

He may help them win a game here or there. But we’re going to see Drummond’s impact most impactful once AD and LeBron are healthy.”

Drummond is having the best season of his career stat-wise, as he is averaging 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
