Lakers legend Magic Johnson made a bold statement on Lonzo Ball. According to him, the New Orleans Pelicans point guard has the highest basketball IQ among point guards in the NBA.
“There’s no point guard in this league whose basketball IQ is higher than Lonzo Ball,” Johnson told Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s First Take as Smith smiled in disagreement. “The IQ of Lonzo Ball is off the charts,” the five-time NBA champion reaffirmed his statement.
This season, which is his fourth in the league, the 23-year-old point guard is averaging 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
