Boston Celtics are in the midst of a mediocre season as they are at 20-20, which is ranked as the seventh-best record in the Eastern Conference.

At a post shootaround media availability, Marcus Smart hinted at off-court issues contributing to the Boston Celtics’ struggles this season.

(via Boston Sports Journal):

“A lot of guys – the court is supposed to be the outlet for them but unfortunately, they have stuff going on individually, that when they come here and things aren’t going right here, it just adds on,” he said.

“We have to continue to help one another, like I said, and keep repeating but it’s true. We have to look out for one another because no one else is.”

Like any other team this season, the Celtics’ squad is facing the limitation of traveling and playing games during the ongoing pandemic.

The teams have to follow strict guidelines and a compressed schedule during this season. Boston is tied with Charlotte sitting at 500., after their surprising loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday.
