LeBron James had 37 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in 36 minutes of play as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to a win over the Charlotte Hornets (116-105).

One of the highlights that the four-time NBA champion made was a chasedown block on Terry Rozier who went up for an easy layup, just to get denied by James.

Frank Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, was asked about the play after the game. “Same thing we see every night from LeBron James,” he said. “He dominates the game in every way that’s needed. During that stretch you just alluded to it was with his defensive performance both at the rim and closing out to Terry Rozier not even guarding Terry Rozier here.

“But it reminded me of when he guarded Jamal Murray in the playoffs last year telling the whole team ‘Stay home, I got him and no one else has to help.’ And he just mans up and gets a stop necessary for us to secure the win. It was a great sequence by him.”
