Luka Doncic showed his respect to Dirk Nowitzki on an Instagram post claiming the NBA legend would beat him in a 1-on-1 matchup.
FIBA shared a picture on Instagram asking fans who would win in a 1-on-1 duel between the two with the current Mavs’ superstar quickly ending the discussion.
Doncic, 21, has all the time ahead of him to surpass the great German, which made players access from all over the world easier.
The young superstar is leading the Mavs to the playoffs, after a mediocre start in the season. Dallas won seven of their last 10 with Doncic dominating opposing teams and propelling his team to a 21-18 record.
