Warriors’ James Wiseman, Eric Paschall enter health and safety protocols

Golden State Warriors’ James Wiseman and Eric Paschall have entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols and are out tonight against the Houston Rockets, according to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Wiseman and Paschall are out due to contact tracing.

A few of the Warriors’ assistant coaches on the developmental staff will be entering health and safety protocols as well, notes Slater.

It’s unclear how long the two players will be out and if they will be able to play against the Memphis Grizzlies on March 19 and March 20.

Without Wiseman and Paschall, Draymond Green will likely start at center and players like Kent Bazemore, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Kevon Looney, Damion Lee, Nico Mannion and Jordan Poole will all have the opportunity to play more minutes.

Wiseman, 19, is averaging 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 block per game in 29 games (20.8 minutes per game).

Paschall, 24, is averaging 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 37 games (17.4 minutes per game).
