Rockets’ demands for Victor Oladipo ‘too steep’ for Warriors, per report

Victor Oladipo could definitely be among the players that could change teams at the Mar. 25 trade deadline. Despite having interest in the Rockets’ guard, the Warriors are unlikely to make a move for him.

According to The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, the Rockets’ price for Oladipo is considered ‘steep’ for the Warriors considering the ‘Dubs’ salary cap situation.

(via NBC Sports Bay Area):

“He is among the players they’ve sniffed around,” The Athletic’s Anthony Slater writes. “But the asking price, to this point, has been too steep to even realistically consider, I’ve been told.

Oladipo will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, as he rejected a two-year $45M offer from the Houston Rockets. So, it would be risky for any team to give up assets without some assurance he wants to re-sign.

The Indiana product averages 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists this season for the slumping Houston Rockets.
