Rookie Anthony Edwards is feeling more and more comfortable in the NBA. The 19-year-old forward, who was the number one pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has just claimed the record which previously belonged to Stephon Marbury.

Edwards had 34 points for the Minnesota Timberwolves in a game versus the Portland Trail Blazers while being 19 years and 221 days old. By this achievement, he became the youngest player in team’s history with a 30-point game.

Until now, the record belonged to Marbury, who had a 30-point game at 19 years and 283 days old. Edwards is averaging 15.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season.
