Klay Thompson has not played since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals for the Golden State Warriors. The ‘Dubs’ superstar talked to the media for the first time this season.

He reflected on how his life changed after his injury, the tough 2020 for the world and for him personally, and of course, his intention to be an All-NBA player once he gets back to court.

Thompson called 2020 the worst year of his life on and off the court. He referred to the pandemic, Kobe, the fight for social justice, his ACL rehab, the Achilles tear and the loss of his grandmother.

Thompson tore his Achilles on a two-dribble pull-up jumper on Nov. 18. He was set to make his return, after sitting out the whole 2019/2020 season due to an ACL injury.
