Frank Vogel shared his thoughts on the Lakers re-signing Damian Jones to a new, 10-day contract.

Vogel opened up about what he is expecting to see from Jones in the coming games of the Lakers.

“I want to see more of what he did. I thought he played well for us. He plays the role of a lob threat. Don’t try to play outside of that lane offensively, to be a screener & a lob threat & a rebounder offensively.

Defensively, to be able to man the middle. Be a shot-blocker & play within our pick-&-roll coverages & obviously to rebound the ball & match up w/ other team’s bigger centers. I thought he did well with it & we will continue to look at that over the next 10 days,” Vogel told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.

Vogel and the Lakers list Jones as probable for the game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday, with a lower back pain.
