EuroLeague Basketball officially announced that the game between Maccabi Tel-Aviv and ASVEL Villeurbanne has been suspended and rescheduled.

The game was scheduled to take place next Thursday (March 18), but will be played almost three weeks later, on April 4.

“The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 30 game between Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, which was originally scheduled to be played on Thursday, March 18, has been suspended and rescheduled to be played on Sunday, April 4, at 20:05 CEST.

The game has been suspended and rescheduled due to French legislation imposing quarantine measures on ASVEL after travelling outside the European Union,” EuroLeague Basketball says in a statement.

Maccabi is at 11-15 in the standings, but still has another two games to play. On the other hand, ASVEL is at 12-16. Both teams still have a chance to advance to the playoffs.
