The Miami Heat are reported to be among teams interested in acquiring Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic ahead of the trade deadline (March 25).

“The Heat, Spurs, Celtics, and Hornets have all expressed significant interest in acquiring All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, league sources say,” reports The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor.

The 30-year-old center was involved in Sunday’s All-Star activities, participating in the Skills Challenge and the game itself. His versatility has made him a wanted man around the league but the Magic are under very little obligation to rush into any trade deals involving the two-time All-Star.

Vucevic is under a very manageable deal in Orlando, earning $24 million in 2021/22 and $22 million the following term. But the team is struggling this season and owns the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference. Perhaps a trade could work out in their best interest given the bleak scope.
