The Brooklyn Nets have emerged as the betting favorite to win the NBA championship, after the acquisition of Blake Griffin.
The Nets now have 5/2 odds to win the title this season, surpassing the two Los Angeles rivals, the Lakers (11/4) and the Clippers (11/2).
After signing Griffin, the Nets have bolstered their roster and are expected to play at very high standards in the second part of the season.
Brooklyn is currently second in the Eastern Conference, at 24-13.
