The Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry will play in his seventh NBA All-Star Game. The 32-year-old guard was an All-Star every season since 2014, except last year when he was out due to an injury.

The three-time NBA champion shared his thoughts on make a return to the event after a one-year absence. “Obviously, with injuries last year and the pandemic and everything that’s happened over the last year and how much work I put in to get my game back to where I want it to be and to be healthy and just to be able to play at a high level means a lot,” Curry said.

“Obviously, when you’re able to represent your team your family and everybody that’s helped you along the way on this stage it means a lot.

It’s not something that I take for granted at all. I know how much hard work goes into it. I know what it means to be recognized as an All-Star. It definitely means a lot.”

Curry will take part in the All-Star Game as a starter for Team LeBron, which will also include LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Jaylen Brown, Rudy Gobert, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Ben Simmons, Paul George and Domantas Sabonis.

He will also take part in the MTN DEW 3-Point Contest. His competitors will be Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Zach LaVine, Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley.

Curry is having his second best season in terms of scoring as he is averaging 29.7 points per game. He’s also posting 5.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game this season.
