LeBron James drops to 3rd place on NBA MVP ladder

Joel Embiid retained the top place in the updated NBA MVP ladder, which was released by nba.com. The Cameroonian center is the leader of the Philadelphia 76ers, the top team at the moment in the Eastern Conference. He is averaging 30.2 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 steals per game.

Below him, LeBron James and Nikola Jokic swapped places. The Los Angeles Lakers star dropped to third place. His season averages are 25.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Jokic climbed to the second place as the Nuggets won four games in a row. Over three games in March he averaged 32 points, 12 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game. Joker is averaging 27.1 points, 11.0 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game this season.

The next two spots are taken by Damian Lillard and Luka Doncic. Dame saw his position move up from the the fifth, while Luka moved up two positions — from seventh to fifth.
