Carmelo Antony admitted he’s ‘in awe’ every time he watches Steph Curry playing, after the Blazers’ win over the Warriors on Wednesday night.
(via NBC Sports Bay Area):
“The way the game is now, this is his pace,” Anthony said to reporters in postgame video conference. “He’s a focal point, and he’s going out there, and he’s putting that team on his back.”
Curry ended up scoring 35 points, on 13-of-28 shooting, adding five assists and seven rebounds on Wednesday’s matchup vs. Portland.
“He’s a focal point, and he’s going out there and he’s putting that team on his back,” Anthony continued. “He’s still who he is, right?
He’s still Steph Curry. He’s out there sometimes, you’re in awe watching him play, the shots that he make, the shots that he take. It’s just great to watch.”
