On Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid demonstrated incredibly masterful performance which considerably contributed to their victory against the Utah Jazz.

The Cameroonian center dropped 40 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and dished 3 assists in a dominant performance against Rudy Gobert.

After the game, Embiid laughed off any talks that is scared of Gobert. In his interview, he denied this narrative, saying: “According to reports, I’m scared of the Jazz and I’m scared of top centers. As we saw tonight, it looks like I was very, very scared of them. So yeah, keep talking,” the MVP candidate said per Derek Bodner.

“Those matchups you want to go out there and just dominate, and prove to everybody that, as a team that we have a great team, and then individually, that I should be up there when it comes to those rankings and stuff. So hopefully that can clear that up with the reporters.”
