The Los Angeles Lakers are looking for two centers to give depth to their offense.

As reported by Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers have targeted Hassan Whiteside or JaVale McGee.

The absence of Anthony Davis weighed heavily on the team that have lost five of their last eight games without him.

The Lakers want to run for cover and aim for Hassan Whiteside, who has missed the last five games of the Sacramento Kings due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Whiteside’s average is 8.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in 23 appearances this season.

The alternative is McGee, an old acquaintance of the Lakers. The Cavs center averaged 7.4 points and 5.1 rebounds in 26 appearances.
