The Toronto Raptors will be without Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, Malachi Flynn and Pat McCaw due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols, according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps.

Along with the five players not playing against the Detroit Pistons on March 3, head coach Nick Nurse and several other coaches also remain out.

Siakam was the first player to enter the protocols and it was announced that he would be out through the All-Star break.

The Raptors will lean heavily on Kyle Lowry, Norman Powell and Chris Boucher for their final two games before the All-Star break.

The team also promoted rookie Jalen Harris and Donta Hall from the G League.

Hall recently signed a 10-day contract with the Raptors.

Sergio Scariolo is expected to be the head coach for the forseeable future.
