LeBron James on tweaking his game to help Lakers win without Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers record are 2-0 in their last two games after defeating the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center. Before that, the reigning NBA champions went through a four-game losing streak as they were dealing without Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder.

LeBron James previously mentioned that he needs to tweak his game to help the Lakers win while missing Davis. Following the win over the Warriors, he expanded on the topic.

“It’s my job, like you said, to figure it out on both sides of the floor,” the four-time NBA champion said. “I think defensively I’ve just been a little bit more active. Trying to be in the right position where that benefit our team, benefit myself. But I’ve just been flying around. It’s helped our team. Everyone’s been flying around. They’ve helped me out too.

“I’m definitely not okay with losing. So it’s my job to figure it out what’s going to be the best for our team. We’ve done a good job of that in last couple of games.”

James played the fewest minutes this season against Golden State, 24, during which he had 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
