Joel Embiid highlighted a pivotal issue for the Philadelphia 76ers, after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time this season.

According to Embiid, the Sixers need to take more threes, especially when they are open. The superstar made two of them during the OT Saturday, however there were not enough for the 76ers.

(via Sixerswire):

“We gotta create for each other,” Embiid said. “I think we still don’t shoot enough 3s. I think we just gotta create for each other and you’re wide open, just left it fly. If you miss it, we got a couple of good offensive rebounders, and if you make it, good.”

The Sixers took 28 threes making ten of them during the course of the game, however Seth Curry and Danny Green -the two best shooters of the team- combined for 4-of-15 from deep.

Embiid finished the contest with 42 points, 13 rebounds and six assists shooting 13-of-22 from the field. Embiid’s co-star Ben Simmons had 24 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.

Despite the impressive performance of the Simmons-Embiid tantrum, the rest of the team did not help enough to propel the Sixers to the win.
