Bradley Beal is one of the best players in the NBA when it comes to scoring. The 27-year-old guard leads the league in scoring with 32.8 points per game.

Beal was close to his season average as he dropped 34 points in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, which was the 7th win for the Washington Wizards in their last 8 games.

After struggling for two quarters, the Wizards star exploded in the third with 16 points. Beal admitted postgame that it was Josh Okogie’s trash talking that motivated him.

“It definitely fuelled a fire up under me…” Beal said per Fred Katz when asked if Josh Okogie’s trash talk fuelled his big third quarter. “He started chirping and saying that he didn’t foul me, or doesn’t foul me, and that was just mind-boggling to me because I feel like the only way you can guard me is by fouling.”

The Wizards are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference with 13 wins and 18 losses. They are just two wins behind the 8th seed Chicago Bulls.
