Kevin Durant will serve as captain in the All-Star Game, even though he will not play, due to a hamstring injury.

Durant will pick players in the upcoming All-Star Draft on Thursday, alongside fellow All-Star captain, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar, LeBron James.

It is still unknown whether Durant will travel to Atlanta and be in attendance for the All-Star Game, which will take place on March 7.

In 19 games played for the Nets so far this season, Durant is averaging 29.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists. He has missed several games lately, due to a hamstring injury.
