James Harden had high praise for young superstar Luka Doncic after the game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Dallas Mavericks.

Harden called Doncic a ‘special one’, with the Slovenian star responding and calling Harden an ‘unbelievable and amazing player’.

“It’s amazing. It’s something you even can’t describe. If somebody like that says something about you, it’s just amazing. I appreciate it. I watch him. He’s an amazing, unbelievable player,” Doncic said of Harden, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News. 

Doncic (27 points, 11/21 shooting, six rebounds, seven assists) and the Mavericks defeated Harden (29 points, 9/21 shooting, seven boards, six assists) and the Nets at Barclays Center (115-98).

Dallas improved to 16-16 in the standings, while Brooklyn dropped to 22-13, with its eight-game winning streak come to an end.
