Derek Fisher had nothing but good words to say about the Los Angeles Lakers after their victory over the Portland Trail Blazers (93-102).
Fisher praised the Lakers for their defense in the second half, with the defending champions limiting Portland to just 36 points.
Fisher, a Lakers and NBA legend, noted the team should be very aggressive defensively until Anthony Davis is back from his injury (calf strain).
Thanks to their win, the Lakers snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 23-11.
