Sixers sharpshooting guard Seth Curry had extra motivation going up against his former team on Thursday. Philadelphia claimed a blowout victory over the Dallas Mavericks with Curry playing an important role for his team.

The Mavericks sent Curry to the Sixers in November on draft night in exchange for Josh Richardson. After the game, Curry threw shade on his former team decision to trade him the past offseason.

“Never nothing personal, man,” Curry said with a smile. “I got a lot of respect for a lot of those guys over there. I just think they made a bad business decision, but it happens all the time, you know what I’m saying? It is what it is.”

The Duke product finished the game with 15 points, on six-of-nine shooting and three makes from the three-point range. He also had a great impact on the defensive end guarding Josh Richardson.
