Several teams are monitoring the situation between Kristaps Porzingis and the Dallas Mavericks, per Chris Crouse of FortyEight Minutes.

According to recent reports, the Mavericks are exploring the possibility of trading Porzingis before the March 25 deadline.

“The Wizards are among the teams monitoring the Porzingis’ status with the Mavericks, a source tells FortyEightMinutes.com. Washington would have interest in the 7’3″ big man as a potential third star alongside Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal,” Crouse reports.

Porzingis missed the first nine games of the season with knee injury and he is struggling to find his rhythm on both ends.

Porzingis is under a five-year, $158,2M contract with Dallas.
