Karl-Anthony Towns had a strong showing against Giannis Antetokounmpo on Tuesday’s matchup between the Bucks and the Timberwolves.
After the game, the Wolves’ superstar revealed that Antetokounmpo reached out to him during family tragedy in the last few months, where Towns lost his mother and six other relatives to the pandemic.
On Tuesday night, Towns had an impressive 26-point, 11-rebound and 8-assist performance against Giannis and the Bucks.
The Wolves’ superstar missed many games due to injury and COVID-19 this season, however he is now healthy hoping to lead his team to wins.
The 6-foot-11 has been averaging 22.3 points, 10.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists on the struggling Minnesota team, which has a league-worst 7-25 record.
