DeMarcus Cousins no longer is a member of the Houston Rockets, as the team announced on Tuesday.
The Rockets officially waived Cousins, who now is a free agent and can sign with another NBA team.
Cousins played in 25 games this season, averaging 9.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 20.2 minutes of action.
The Rockets took to Twitter and wished the veteran big man best of luck in his career.
