Despite being 36 years old, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is not taking any games off even if his load has increased with the absence of Anthony Davis.

The four-time NBA champion regularly receives questions from the media about him potentially needing a break, but he has no intention to take any time off.

According to LeBron’s teammate Jared Dudley, the fact that he plays every game distinguishes him from other MVP candidates.

“The thing about LeBron compared to all these different players is he plays every game. That matters. It matters to voters. If we’re still up there in the top one, two, or three seed, LeBron’s going to have a chance to win MVP,” Dudley said per Michael Scotto.

With the NBA nearing the middle of the regular season, the MVP race is heating up. According to sports analyst Chris Broussard, LeBron has lost the lead in it, but still has enough time to turn things around.
